Upper facelift, also known as forehead lift surgery, is performed to lift the forehead and temporal area and lift the eyebrows. With modern aesthetic surgery techniques, this procedure is performed using the endoscopic technique. During endoscopic forehead lift surgery, a total of 4 incisions of 1.5-2 cm in length are made, 1 each in the right and left temple area and 1 each in the right and left upper part of the forehead, so as to remain in the hair. The forehead skin, which is separated from the bone and freed, is stretched upwards and tautly attached there. The cuts on the skin are closed with thin, self-melting stitches. In this way, both the forehead area is stretched and the sagging of the eyebrows is corrected.

Aesthetic forehead lift surgery takes approximately 1.5 hours. It is performed in a properly equipped hospital environment and under general anesthesia. In principle, it is enough to stay in the hospital for 1 day, but if you feel well, you can leave the hospital on the same day. After forehead lift surgery, there is swelling and bruising in the area around the eyes, whose tissue is quite loose. The increase in swelling and bruising can be prevented by applying ice to this area on the first day. After the surgery, the patient can stand up within a few hours. Most of my patients feel well enough to see their own needs after surgery. You will not feel much pain after the forehead lift operation, you will not be bedridden, and you can easily do your daily work on your own after returning home. The swelling and bruising will disappear in about 1 week when left to its normal course. Therefore, it will take about a week for you to go out in public, return to work and start working. When Botox is applied to the forehead area after the swelling and bruises have completely disappeared, the result is much more striking.
